Burundi Friends Church Opens Two Clean Water Fountains For Kirundo Locals

On October 29, 2022 : Evangelical Friends Church based in Bugabira Commune in Kirundo Province officially opened two of the three fountains built for the inhabitants of Rugasa area.

 The Legal Representative of Evangelical Friends Church in Burundi Reverend Louis Pasteur NIZIGIYIMANA announced that the Evangelical Friends Church itself managed to find the wells and prepared them in the financial support of donors.

But before showing that act of compassion, the Evangelical Friends Church delegates met the Governor of Kirundo Province . They talked about different activities that Evangelical Friends Church is accomplishing in his province and announced him why they have built the fountains.

They proved out that more than six thousand families made of more than thirty thousand persons living in the area were drinking and cooking with unclean water from Gacamirindi lake and that now, they have access to clean water .

Though these activities are costly, the Legal Representative of the Evangelical Friends Church in Burundi Rev. Pasteur NIZIGIYIMANA announced that they will keep knocking to several doors so as to extend them in different areas throughout the country.

The beneficiaries are thankful for that act of compassion they benefited from Evangelical Friends Church hoping that they are going to have a good health promising to keep the fountains safe.

In the meeting with the Governor of Kirundo Province Albert HATUNGIMANA, he promised to provide to the Evangelical Friends Church a  peace of land where the church will build its" Development Office Center. "to use in their different projects in Kirundo Province.
